Hello...

I just don’t know where the time has gone, really. I honestly think the number of hours in a day is getting fewer as time passes.
I don’t think I have touched my journals since my last post. I have a new toy, well actually I have had it for a couple of months now and I have been playing around with it some.
This is the Ellis Sizzix Die Cutting Machine called the Vagabond. It was designed by Tim Holtz.

Of course, there are a bazillion accessories that have to be bought in order to use the thing, but so far I have only about two dozen or so.

The bird and birdcage were cut out from a die. The tag is one that I had and used and embossing folder on it. There is a die that cuts the strip that makes the flower but I don't have it. I just made it on my own.

I created a birthday card for my son on the computer using Photoshop Elements and then I embossed it using one of the embossing folders.

Here it is before embossing.

And after embossing

Wow, looks like a fun toy! The card looks great too.

My DD gave me a thing for making stickers. I haven't figured out what to do with it yet! I bet you'd have it figured out right away!

amazing what a difference a little texture can make. Looks like a fun toy. I have a cricut and have been collecting cartridges for a few years now. I've probably invested at least $2000, and have probably made a total of 40 items. Time does go by to fast. All the intentions of doing wonderful things with our toys, but never enough hours in the day. I understand totally.
