ATC Swap and ...

Judith over at Quilt or Dye asked to do an ATC swap. This is the one she sent me. Love it.

And this the one I made for her.


















I also finished up the online class. This is the last page. This was my first attempt at doing an image transfer using matte gel medium and images from a flower catalog.


















This is the book cover. I peeled away some of the paper from the cardboard cover and then glued on a torn page from an old encyclopedia.


















Here is a side view of the bound book. As you can see, it is very fat.


















Now it is off to new adventures.

Here are three more pages from the "Artsy Fartsy Techniques" online class taught by Donna Salazar.

This one had Adirondack Color Wash Ink for the background (watercolor paper). I used Diamond Glaze over the flower and the words.


















I used watercolor crayons to color the background on this one. I really love those roses.


















I used Distress Ink to color the background on this last one. It is a little darker than I would have liked but still it is okay. There are 3 cards in the pocket. I used the frame stamp on the top and bottom edges of the cards.

Some of What I Have Been Doing

A while back I signed up to take an online class with Donna Salazar using different techniques to create interesting scrapbook pages.

These are the first 6 of 12. They measure 4 x 6 inches.



















When all twelve pages are made we will be putting the pages together into a little book.
