Challenge Results

Some of you are familiar with the yahoo Fibre & Stitch group. The challenge put forth for the month of January was to spend no more than 15 minutes picking through your scrap pile for scraps to make something with. I put together two different piles and these are the results.

I turned those scraps into this.

Scrap pile number two.

These became this.

They both hold a 3 x 5 inch notepad.

Those are both totally fabulous Micki. I don't know what it is, but there's something about lots of different fabrics in one piece that really grabs me.

Hi!
Wow! Mere words cannot express my admiration for your pieces...in fact, all the padfolios and wraps I've seen on-line simply blow me away....I can't imagine getting me or my machine to cooperate on such an undertaking. These are lovely.

On another matter, your ears should have been itching a little today...around lunchtime. Jean and I were talking about your blog and your work! Neither of us realized that we both read your blog!

That is really cool. How do you affix the pad to the padfolio? I really love the fabrics you used.

This is my first time here and I'll be back. I'm just getting into fiber arts.

These portfolios are stunning. you really are so talented. I'm going to link them to my blog if you don't mind as so many people don't know what to do with scraps.
