Week 15—Oyster Stitch

I used DMC floss and I think that is why it was hard to get a decent looking stitch, at least for me anyway. The background for this ATC is wool roving needle punched onto a piece of peltex using my Janome Xpression.
Week 16—Palestrina Stitch

I had no idea what to do with this stitch so I just did this. I found it hard to keep this stitch even since I wasn’t using a woven background. The background is wool roving needle punched onto two layers of used dryer sheets.

It was a pleasure and the sample looks great.
your work is always so elegant!
Very nice, especially that green background!
Micki, you are well ahead of me with your TAST stitches now. I just love the backgrounds of your ATC's I take it they are always emebllished? Those colours are so beautifully blended and this one with the palestrina stitch are particularly favourite colours of mine.
These are lovely Micki, and the backgrounds are just beautiful a great way to show off your lovely stitchwork
Love that green one with purple flowers.
Love your background colours Micki, especially the green one, those flowers just jump right out at you. I seem to have given up on TAST I am so far behind!
Well done with the oyster stitch Micki! It took me quite a while to figure it out as well. (Thanks to Doreen) Your ATCs are beautiful!
Lovely cards Micki - I agree with the others, the backgrounds are gorgeous! I'm like Lynda, so far behind on TAST.....
