Look what came in the mail today:
The new Embellish and Stitch book. I have only looked briefly through it. Looks very interesting, but a lot of what I did read I have already seen on some of the blogs or learned through my own experiments. Will just have to read all before making a judgement one way or the other.

I ordered one today. Since I just got an embellishing foot for my machine I haven't had much time to play, so maybe by the time the book arrives I will be ready.
I think I agree with you Micki. Like yourself I need to read it properly before making a decision though. There is nothing new under the sun these days is there? I do like the idea of pleating which I had not thought out for myself.

I have also think to order one, but when I try it don´t work this day. And so I think, did I really need it?? I have already another, and Ihave so many embroidery books and other books, and I will always want another one! Maybe I should wait and see if I need it! but I love my Janome xpression, it´s really lovely!

I'm lucky to have a good library at my guild, though I seldom have taken advantage of it. I tend to buy books on other subjects that inspire me, like architecture & decorative designs from centuries past. I like to play & experiment on my own.
