I am trying to participate each week in the Take a Stitch Tuesday challenge. I know I am not putting as much effort in this as some of the other participants, but I at least want to try to give it a shot each week.
The stitch for week #3 is the detached chain stitch (or lazy daisy). Here is my effort, again in ATC form.

I'm the same Micki. I feel that my efforts are a bit "hum, hum" compared to the others I've seen - but just want to give them all a go. I think this sample is great, and the blues and white look really good!!
I think many people are thinking the same thing. I figure it's a personal challenge with a short timeline so if I like it when it's finished - great. I like what you're ATCs though. They're really beautiful.
I like it Micki it looks good as an ATC too.
I can't help myself with my challenge samples because I am a neat freak and when I see how others experiment I think "why can't I do that".
Oh well to each his own I guess.
I think this one is lovely Micki. Mine is still unfinished, but I think I will leave it and go on to the cretan stitch.
