Autumn's Glory
I worked on this little piece off and on over the past week. It is my first "stab" at doing hand needle felting, which is something I have been wanting to try. I cut pieces of felt for the ground, tree and sun. I then needle felted wool roving onto the ground piece and the tree trunk. The tree "leaves" are nylon tops. Then I added a little bit of hand stitching. It measures 4" x 6".

It's terrific! I haven't tried needle felting. I like the colors you used in the tree, very fall like indeed.
It looks so soft and lovely. I am not good at needle-work but I will try soon.
wonderful! the more needle felting I see, the more I am sure that I want to try it someday.
This is such a pretty picture. The colours in the tree are gorgeous.
