I just thought I would see if blogger is uploading any pictures. I wanted to show the fabric I used on the back of my Jungle piece from the last post.I just thought this fabric fit the bill for the backing.
And this is the vine that I free-motion quilted in the border. It's nothing fancy but it was all that I wanted.
I have the label printed, but I still need to get it and the hanging sleeve sewn on.
It's been years since I've made a big quilt! I think I've gotten lazy. You do beautiful work!
To answer your question on my blog, if I don't name the author, the quotes just come out of my dissapearing brain! Really, it is dissapearing fast! My memory is going going...
I am a self-taught mixed media artist using mostly textiles and fibers. However, it is not unusual to find beads, paint, paper, metal, polymer clay or found objects in my work. Art Quilts, Art Dolls, ATC's, Fabric Books and Needlefelting make up the majority of my work.

What is the border fabric? I'd love to have some. That is a nice wild quilt.
I've got studio time the week of June 26, can you come out to play? If so, email me and I'll give you the details.
That jungle quilt is great! I like the simplicity of the vine in the border. "Less is more"
Love that quilt! The border fabric is a great compliment too! Fantastic!
I think it goes very well with your quilt.

Anyway, HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!
Your jungle quilt is fantastic and the backing fabric is just perfect for it. Good luck with your label printing.
Perfect! Couldn't have been a better match...
