I took some time out and made these ATC’s. I call them my Mosaic Ladies. First I stamped the images on some hand dyed fabric and then I cut up bits of fabric that had fusible webbing applied. I arranged the pieces in a mosaic style and fused the pieces in place. Then I added touches of color using colored pencils and fabric markers.
Hi, I'm in Louisville and on the AQ ring also. My blog is Seamless Skin. I love these atc's. I've not attempted this size but am an avid postcarder :) A few, a small few of my postcards can be seen at http://artgoingpostal.blogspot.com
I am a self-taught mixed media artist using mostly textiles and fibers. However, it is not unusual to find beads, paint, paper, metal, polymer clay or found objects in my work. Art Quilts, Art Dolls, ATC's, Fabric Books and Needlefelting make up the majority of my work.
